When we decided to have a water feature

When we decided to have a water feature installed in our yard, we surfed the net looking at various pictures for ideas. We contacted 2 companies on Vancouver Island and chose The Concrete Jungle based solely on the personality of Dave Burrows, a decision we have not regretted. Dave came to our home with one of his staff as we also required extensive rock work done. Dave and Rodel were awesome. They had some great ideas and no job (or wish) was too small. Work commenced within a couple of weeks and was completed totally to our satisfaction, despite us constantly changing our minds. Their honesty and integrity shows in every aspect of their labor and finished project. We are enjoying hours of fulfillment and relaxation sitting next to either of our 2 waterfalls or beside our 80 foot long meandering stream. The birds love it too. The plans for our new home

The plans for our new home on Protection Is. called for a pond.  For ease of maintaining, I was in favour of a dry, rock bed.
However, our builder, Elise Construction, convinced us he could design and build a pond that would be easy to maintain.

With your equipment specification and design layout, our builder put his vision to task.
The result is far beyond what we could have imagined.  The entire property, which was hot and dry in the summer, has come alive with life everywhere.  We’ve created a mini Eco system, and we love watching it in action.  The fish must love it too, as we have dozens after installing only six.  They’re like family now.

The pond is kept full using the roof drains, with an overflow into the perimeter building drainage and an automatic water top up from our well using a float.  The ultra violet light, pump, filter system you specified keeps the water beautifully clean and clear.

We came to Dave

 We came to Dave after another "professional" left us with less than satisfying results.   We had paid someone who made many promises they didn't keep and the end result was a pond that was an unsightly reminder of wasted money every time we walked by it.

Dave and Todd made some wonderful suggestions and offered solutions to our problem.   They even stuck to their quote, despite taking a little longer to complete than anticipated, which was simply the result of wanting the end product to look good.   We now have a beautiful pond that we get many compliments on.   As well we enjoy many relaxing hours as we sit and listen to our  waterfall and watch our fish.

We would highly recommend their service to anyone considering a water feature.   Lesson learned....there are many people out there that will take your money and not really have the expertise for the job.   Dave and Todd are great at what they do and they enjoy and take pride in their work.    There aren't that many people out there who even want to take on a mess someone else has left behind, but Dave and Todd gave us the pond we had always envisioned and we will certainly use their service again in the future.
